Senior Site Engineer – Donabate – €105K Package
 
Our client is an Irish house-builder and developer operating across the Greater Dublin Area and other major urban locations in Ireland. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a key residential development in Donabate.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer, offering clear and steady progression to Site Manager within the first year.
 
Package details:

• Base salary up to €80,000

Responsibilities:

• Manage Health & Safety on site.
• Review and comment on design drawings; raise RFIs as needed.
• Participate in Design Team Meetings and close out design issues.
• Communicate approved technical submittals to relevant teams.
• Track delivery programmes, report weekly, and prevent delays.
• Coordinate subcontractors and service providers for timely testing and commissioning.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and standards.
• Inspect works continuously and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead quality assurance processes, technical submittals, benchmarks, and inspection management.
• Implement DMS and ensure BCAR compliance.
• Manage site drawings and quality assurance documentation.
• Oversee specific work packages, tender packs, subcontractor programmes, and material orders.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors to deliver on time and budget.
• Lead Temporary Works Management on site.
• Manage third-party stakeholders (e.g., Irish Water, ESB, local authorities).
• Chair site and construction team meetings.

 
Key skills required:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Ireland on civil or residential projects
• HETAC Level 8 Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
