Planning Research Assistant – Residential Developer
Our client, a leading residential developer based in Dublin City Centre, is seeking a Planning Research Assistant to join their well-established planning team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to some of the most high-profile residential projects in the region.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning team across various functions, including forward planning, data analysis, development control, and construction coordination. You will be working in a dynamic environment where your insights and research will directly influence planning strategies and project outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Conduct targeted research on specific geographic areas, employment trends, and planned infrastructure developments.
Maintain and update a monitoring database tracking relevant planning applications and development activity.
Support the Planning team in ensuring the timely submission and delivery of all statutory certifications and planning compliance documentation in accordance with planning regulations.
Undertake site visits and assist in the preparation of feasibility assessments for potential development sites.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Planning team, including maintaining the planning compliance tracker, managing team calendars, compiling monthly reports, and assisting with general planning-related tasks.
Key skills required:
NFQ Level 8 Qualification in Urban Planning or similar.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector (civils or residential).
Knowledge of GIS mapping.
Full clean drivers license & access to a vehicle required.
