Our client is a highly regarded main contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality Residential & Commercial construction projects across Ireland. Known for their professionalism, innovation, and commitment to excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark hospital rebuild project in Longford.
  
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful execution of the hospital build through to completion. This is a high-profile healthcare project requiring strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex builds on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project team in the planning, execution, and delivery of the hospital build.
• Coordinate all phases of construction, including procurement, scheduling, health and safety, and quality assurance.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and efficient project delivery.
• Monitor progress against project timelines, budgets, and key milestones, implementing corrective actions as required.
• Liaise closely with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant health & safety and building regulations, including BCAR and hospital-specific requirements.
• Maintain clear project documentation and reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead site meetings, oversee inspections, and resolve any issues that arise on-site.

  
Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a Project Manager role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale healthcare, public sector, or similarly complex builds.
• Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, BCAR, and HSE standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, etc.).
• Valid Safe Pass and other relevant certifications.
