Background
Our client is seeking a Site Agent to join their team for a infrastructure project in Roscommon which started late last year. As Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the site team, including Construction Manager, Site Engineers, Supervisors/Foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee projects in both urban and rural settings, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and guide site teams, including operatives, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate resources, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors, from project start to completion.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, attending meetings and providing updates on progress.
- Manage contracts, drawings, specifications, and approvals, ensuring compliance and documentation of changes.
- Monitor site progress, report on programme, finances, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and project reports while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensure Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards are implemented and adhered to.
- Plan and execute all construction operations to meet deadlines and company objectives.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate temporary and permanent works, including certification where required.
- Collaborate with quantity surveyors on measurement, valuation, and financial monitoring of works
Key Skills Required
- A degree in engineering or equivalent experience to support your competency in the role,
- A member of the relevant Professional Institution,
- Chartered Status (or working towards it),
- Minimum 2 years’ experience for a Site Agent,
- Full clean EU/Irish driver licence
- Authorised to work in Ireland i.e. stamp 4 visa or critical skills visa
