Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, member-focused support across the mortgage lifecycle
- Process and administer mortgage applications in line with internal credit policy and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with members, solicitors, valuers, and other third parties to progress mortgage cases efficiently
- Prepare and review mortgage documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Key Skills Required
- Third-level qualification in business, finance, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Previous experience in a mortgage, lending, or financial services environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Member-focused mindset with a high standard of professionalism
- Desire to develop a long-term career within the Credit Union sector
- Willingness to pursue or hold APA / QFA accreditation
