Head of Operations (Construction)
- Based in West Dublin
- Large Main Contractor
- Role will report directly to the MD
The Company
Large Main Contractor/Developer who have a track record of delivering large commercial, housing and apartment projects in Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow.
They are looking to make the key strategic hire of a Head of Operations to join the senior management team and be based out of their head office.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior leadership team and heads of departments.
- Oversee all operations between head office and site to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement improvements to operational processes and standards.
Key Skills Required
- Min 7 years’ experience in the construction industry (main contracting experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and people management ability
- Demonstrated expertise in operational governance, systems and performance management ( ISO 9001 / 14001 /45001)
- Commercially minded and someone with ability to take ownership of the department
- Third level qualification ideally in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or Operations
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
