Data Analyst Overview
The Data Analyst will ensure the completion of all reporting, migration activities, remediation, and ad hoc duties following best practice guidelines. This role involves close interaction with various stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure all requirements are met. The Data Analyst is responsible for delivering these services timely and accurately, adhering to regulatory requirements, best practices, and company policies and procedures.
 
Key Accountabilities & Main Responsibilities
  • Develop macros and data frameworks to improve real-time reporting accuracy.
  • Manage multiple large datasets, conducting thorough data cleansing to ensure accurate data capture from portfolios.
  • Perform end-to-end loan reporting for multiple portfolios.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to enhance existing macros.
  • Maintain and deliver accurate and robust management information for client discussions and reviews.
  • Oversee IPD cash collections reports for each assigned portfolio, ensuring all specified SLAs are met.
  • Prepare quarterly mandate reports as well as ad-hoc reports.
  • Identify and implement process and system efficiencies.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and handle ad hoc projects as they arise.
  • Contribute positively towards team goals and deadlines.
  • Work with the CMU Manager to build strong working relationships locally and with colleagues in other locations, ensuring seamless, top-tier service delivery.
Experience & Personal Attributes
  • Third-level qualification in Finance or a related discipline.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the banking/financial services industry.
  • Strong financial analysis, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to meet and manage strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Advanced Excel.
  • Delivery-focused with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
  • Effective communicator, influencer, and negotiator, capable of interacting at all levels.
  • Demonstrate an organized approach to work and the ability to prioritize critical tasks.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude.
Desirable
  • APA or QFA qualification (not essential).
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
