• You will be reporting to Senior Development Manager.

  
Background
The Assistant Development and Planning Manager supports the process from land purchase through to planning approval – assisting with due diligence, planning, design, and overall project coordination to help bring schemes forward to a deliverable stage.
  
Package details

• Base salary €50,000 – €60,000

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning strategy from pre-application through to decision
• Oversee planning compliance and maintain trackers
• Liaise with local authorities, consultees, and key stakeholders
• Monitor planning policy and emerging local plans
• Support day-to-day coordination of live planning projects
• Help procure design teams and assist with project budgets
• Manage external consultants including architects, engineers, and specialists
• Contribute to site layouts and masterplans to ensure compliance and commercial viability
• Ensure schemes meet planning policy, design standards, and sustainability requirements
• Work closely with Technical and Construction teams to ensure deliverability
• Support value engineering and design optimisation
• Assist with feasibility studies, planning appraisals, and development strategies
• Provide planning risk and programme advice on potential sites

  
Key skills required

• Experience in development within residential development or consultancy
• Experience in house building at any stage of project lifecycle
