Ireland’s construction sector continues to face headwinds, with home-building activity declining for the eighth consecutive month. Softer demand, project delays and persistent cost pressures are weighing on activity across residential, commercial and civil works.
That said, there are early signs of stabilisation. The pace of decline is beginning to ease and new orders are showing tentative recovery — a cautious indication that confidence may be slowly returning to the market.
For contractors and project managers in high-demand specialisms, selective opportunities are beginning to emerge.
