A recent Irish Times article reveals that over a third of Irish candidates have already experienced an AI-led interview — with 21% only realising it halfway through the process. A further 27% withdrew completely when faced with an AI interview, and 23% said they would do the same.
In a market where skilled talent is already hard to come by, candidate experience carries real weight. The strongest candidates have choices, and a hiring process that feels impersonal — however streamlined — can cost you the right person before they’ve ever met your team.
