The Company
Our client is a top tier MC with a track record delivering building and civil projects. Due to the award of a large project in Wexford they are looking to hire a Senior QS with building experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing project budgets, cost estimates, and cost plans
- Managing and negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers
- Liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Evaluating and approving payments to contractors and suppliers
Key Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
