About the Role
We are seeking a Member Service Officer to join the team in Dublin. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to members, assisting with a variety of financial services, and ensuring the smooth operation of the credit union’s day-to-day activities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to members, addressing their financial needs and inquiries.
- Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan applications, and payments.
- Assist with the administration of loans and account maintenance.
- Promote and explain the credit union’s products and services to new and existing members.
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle member queries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the branch in meeting its operational and customer service goals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a financial services or credit union environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- A member-first approach to service delivery.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude in a busy environment.
- APA (Loans) or QFA qualification is desirable but not essential.
